"Undiscovered Flavors"

Set in a corner of New Orleans' Audubon commune, Saba has taken upon itself to introduce the locals to the delightful flavors of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. The restaurant's executive chef Alon Shaya celebrates his Israeli heritage through the restaurant while integrating the best elements of various cuisines from Greece, Morocco, Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, and Bulgaria. He adds a local twist to the dishes by preparing them using regionally-sourced produce and ingredients. Saba's Lutenitsa, Duck Hearts, Matzoh Ball Soup, and Harissa Roasted Chicken are truly exquisite.
