Far from being disillusioned or disheartened when it was forced out of its home of 27 years, this New York classic simply moved three blocks over and resurrected itself as one of the city's most sought after French bistros. Although much grander and spacious than the original, Le Bilboquet remains a baffling blend of old world charm and trendy style. While the food is certainly worth rave reviews, people come here to mingle with the cool cats and be seen by those who matter. The Cajun chicken is by far the most popular dish on the menu, although their take on the croque-monsieur and foie gras terrine is no less inviting. As the sun goes down, the bistro transforms into a bubbly and vibrant spot for a little post dinner dancing and revelry.
