Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center

The Vivian Beaumont Theater is one of the largest spaces within the Lincoln Center and is an essential performing arts venue in New York's cultural scene. Named after the actress and center's benefactor Vivian Beaumont Allen, it was established in 1965 and the present day building theater is a fine example of modern architecture. It is the only Broadway-grade theater in the city that is not located in the Theater District. Several acclaimed performances have been staged at this state of the art theater in the past and continue to captivate the audience with its line up of eclectic performances. It has a seating capacity of about 1,200 people in total and the rising row of seats allow an impeccable view of the stage.
