Center for Jewish History

The Center for Jewish History is the result of the combined effort of five bodies, to preserve Jewish heritage and culture. The American Jewish Historical Society, the American Sephardi Federation, the Leo Baeck Institute, the Yeshiva University Museum, and the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. Come by if you wish to learn about Jewish customs and tradition or if you have any unanswered questions about Jewish heritage. Presentations and tours are held regularly and you can attend exhibitions and visit the Reading Room and the Genealogy Institute. Feast your eyes on Yeshiva University Museum's art display. And if you get hungry, there is a coffee shop on the premises, where you can munch on delicious snacks. The hours for the Yeshiva University Museum and Free Gallery Spaces are different, so please check the website before visit.
