Municipal Art Society of New York

Municipal Art Society is a non-profit organization which strives for the urban designing and planning, work in contemporary art and preservation of history in the form of statues, old buildings, museums, etc. Established in 1893, this society has come a long way and are doing well of course. Their well-known projects were Jane Jacobs and the Future of NY, Community Technology Initiative, Save Industrial Brooklyn and many more. This society certainly is making all five boroughs of New York city a better place to live in.
