"African-American Art"

The Studio Museum in Harlem is the nexus for artists of African descent. The artworks and other installations are sourced locally, nationally and internationally. The collections and exhibitions mainly comprise of works that have been inspired and influenced by black culture. Not only is the museum a venue for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society, but it's also the place where one can be immersed in and appreciate the history, the struggles and the perseverance of the Africans. Free admission on Sundays.
