"Historical Memorial House"
The Sara Delano Roosevelt Memorial House is most commonly known as the Roosevelt House. It was ably constructed from 1907 through 1908 and has gained tremendous importance as a monumental site. A couple of mirror-image residences remain as the basic distinctive feature of the site along with a sole facade and entrance. A scenic fireplace and reception room is embellished in the first story. A great avenue in research, the house has been a site for many uniquely structured programs and stands listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
