The Sara Delano Roosevelt Memorial House is most commonly known as the Roosevelt House. It was ably constructed from 1907 through 1908 and has gained tremendous importance as a monumental site. A couple of mirror-image residences remain as the basic distinctive feature of the site along with a sole facade and entrance. A scenic fireplace and reception room is embellished in the first story. A great avenue in research, the house has been a site for many uniquely structured programs and stands listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Wagner Cove is a little scenic spot by the lake in Central Park. You’ll find a small rustic shelter and two wooden benches surrounded by beautiful trees and pretty flowers around this place. Its secluded location makes it one of those calm and serene places in the park ideal to sit, relax and contemplate. You can even spend some quality time with your date here.
Originally known as 1095 Avenue of the Americas, Salesforce.com, a San Francisco-based company signed a deal in 2016 to rename this 630-foot-tall (190 meters) skyscraper as Salesforce Tower. Designed by renowned architecture firm Kahn & Jacobs, this skyscraper is said to be one of the tallest ones in New York City. This shimmery glass building that houses several leading corporates in the United States is truly an architectural phenomenon.
The Park Avenue Armory is a spectacular collection of the 19th century armor, which now lies under the expert supervision of a body called, Conservancy for the Park Avenue Armory. Apart from being a great tourist attraction, it also serves as a great social and cultural hub. Various art and vintage fairs are held here as well. The armory is to begin renovation following which, the regally restored bygone-era rooms will draw greater tourist attention.
