This 'pasticceria' or bakery is located in the West Village and if you are looking for Zeppole, Pignoli, Cannoli or any other Italian sweet, you have come to the right place. Since 1974, Rocco Generoso has served traditional recipes and pastries that he inherited from the previous owner of the storefront at 243 Bleecker Street. The list of treats goes on-and-on, from Panettone and Rainbow cakes to Biscotti and Linzer Tarts, it's nearly impossible to leave without a dozen of something.
