Located close to Union Square Park, Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò is a part of New York University. Established in the year 1990, it houses the Department of Italian Studies. It was dedicated to the industrialist, Guido Zerilli-Marimò after his wife Baroness Mariuccia Zerilli-Marimò made a large donation. This 19th century structure was built to promote Italian culture in New York. Several events like lectures, concerts and art exhibitions are often held here.
Set in Pershing Square Signature Center, The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theater is a great place to visit for theater lovers. This theater was named after the late playwright Romulus Linney. It can comfortably seat hundreds of guests. This well-equipped theater features a large stage and an orchestra pit for the performing musicians.
