Pelican Grill

Perched on the beautiful hilltop inside the uber cool Pelican Hill Golf Club, Pelican Grill offers you panoramic views of the golf greens and the wide blue Pacific ocean. A delicious farm to table menu highlighting the wood fire stove with specialties like wood-roasted chicken, New York steak and fries, salmon served with shiitake-ginger vinaigrette, and the scallop and shrimp duo. All these wonderful creations you can see being made in their open kitchen or just head to their chic lounge and catch the game on two huge screens. Durty Nelly's

Durty Nelly's is an Irish pub that has a great reputation and a happy atmosphere with a 19th-century vibe. The polished brass and wood paneling add to its authenticity. The clientele is jovial, and many of them are regulars who come in for a midday break or an evening toast. Everybody is family here, even if it is your first time visiting. Friday and Saturday evenings are quite eventful with karaoke starting at 9p and lasting into the wee hours of the morning. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Tin Lizzie Saloon

With an interior that resembles a Victorian lounge, the atmosphere of this bar is welcoming for anybody who might want a drink. The bartenders are very friendly and the cocktails are strong and reasonably priced. There is also a pool table that is constantly in use and a jukebox. Whether you wish to hang out with some friends or simply enjoy a drink by yourself, Tin Lizzie Saloon is the place to be.

The Huddle

The Huddle draws in Costa Mesa's young, hip and grungy set with cheap pitchers, a sizable amount of pool tables, arcade games, dart boards and more. The decor is nothing ornate, wood paneled walls and branded pennants are as dressed up as it gets. A small number of booths, tables and high counters are scattered on one end of the bar, making room for eight pool tables that maintain a sizable line throughout the evening. A small outdoor smoking patio may be the most densely populated area of The Huddle, with a consistent crowd flowing in and out of the tiny backroom space. Cheap drinks, typical dive bar service and a high-energy atmosphere are just part of why The Huddle is a local favorite night after night.
