Based on the quality of this cuisine and spectacular location on the Calle del Arco, Gaia should be far more popular amongst tourists than it is. But maybe only Antigueños find themselves craving spectacular hummus, flavorful falafel, rich and tender meat, warm pitas, and a laundry list of hookah flavors to be smoked through water, vodka, or wine. Lesser-known treats like foul (a fava bean dip) and limonana (an icy mint lemonade) are also offered, and every bite and sip is an argument to come back again. After all, you can't sample the whole menu in one visit!—elaborate sampler plates should give you a good start, though.
A hidden treasure in the northwest corner of town, Santo Pecado offers great live music, drink specials, salsa dancing, and tasty meals all under one roof. The talented musicians and gracious dueño are fast to befriend you, and after the impassioned, percussive show, these people are sure to know the best late-night parties in town. Monday brings an hour of free salsa dance lessons, followed by a 6-9 p.m. happy hour with two for one drinks (happy hour runs Monday through Saturday). Live music performances overlap nicely with happy hour, running from 8-10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The Santo Pecado is closed Wednesday, but otherwise, it would be all too easy to wander this way every evening of the week!
As typical to any location of the T.G.I. Friday's, the Majadas outlet of the chain also attracts a younger clientele. Some college students others young professionals, they all come here to enjoy the grub but not necessarily on a Friday. T.G.I. Friday's delicious American fare of burgers, sandwiches, steaks and more, is known to impress the Central American palate and patrons can't help coming back for more. The place is mostly crowded because of the brand name as well as the great ambiance but their efficient staff never leaves room for complaint.

This restaurant is one of the best in Guatemala City and offers Spanish food with a difference. Chef Jose Luis has come up with some innovative recipes that give traditional food a new feel. There is also an elaborate wine list to choose from. As this place is small, it is advised to arrive a bit early. Enjoy the flavors of Iberia that will surely make you say 'delicioso'.
