The Union Craft Brewery is situated on Union Avenue, just a few minutes away from Maryland Zoo in Woodberry area of Baltimore. Merriweather Post Pavilion is actually an outdoor park-cum concert venue situated in downtown Columbia. It is one of the most happening venues for concerts and music festivals not only in Columbia but also in the entire Maryland area. This is not just a venue for the usual rock and roll bands but also for operas and local bands; indie band Animal Collective, named their 2009 hit album after this venue.
