The Brötli Bar prides itself on being one of the few which prepares fresh fillings for its sandwiches every 30 minutes. You can either parcel your food or sit back in the very ambient bar with its dark wooden furnishings and cream ceilings and walls.
The Lowenzorn used to have a sign with 'Europe's best brawn' written on it. The sign has gone, but the good wholesome food remains. The restaurant is still known as the 'historical student beer pub' and not without a good reason. The beer certainly flows when the students are around. The bar has a rustic feel, and is decorated with 'Shrove Tuesday' motifs. The garden is peaceful, with a nice atmosphere.
