An architectural masterpiece that has existed since 1910, the magnificent Georgian-revival-style Hampshire House overlooks the blissful Boston Public Garden. The mansion was designed by renowned architect Ogden Codman who ensured that it sports elegant Palladian windows, exquisite marble floors, elaborate chandeliers, and hand-carved oak panels. Originally owned by Bayard Thayer, he sold the property to the owner of the Lincolnshire Hotel, Thomas A. Kershaw in 1969. The mansion has overseen a multitude of special occasions since then.
