In 1988 Mr. Basil Rickett, great-grandson of one of the original builders, graced the official reopening ceremony of the mill. Today, this mill is open to visitors on Wednesdays, Saturdays and bank holidays. You can climb all seven floors of the windmill, and watch how this mechanical wonder works its magic, for a small fee. There is also a mill shop which sells history books, souvenirs and organic flour that is milled at the Maud Foster Windmill.
