The first foreign location of the critically-acclaimed Alsatian restaurant L'Auberge de l'ill, this restaurant in Nagoya is located on the 42nd floor of the Midland Tower, one of the most recognizable buildings in the city. The dining area combines 19th-century European decor with contemporary furnishings, giving guests a taste of both the past and the present. This upscale restaurant offers 4 different lunch plans (A, B, C, D), of which the first two feature standard dishes prepared with less complicated cooking techniques, while the other two offer more portions and intricate gourmet dishes that'll not only tantalize your taste buds but will also be a feast for your eyes.
Probably the best Italian restaurant in the city, Gira Sole goes beyond just pizza and pasta. It serves a wide variety of fish and seafood delicacies as well as outstanding meat dishes. Just one of the set courses available here is enough to feed the average person for the whole day. If you prefer to order a la carte, there is a fabulous range of hors d'oeuvres and entrees to choose from. The wine list is extensive and includes many top quality selections.
The spacious interior of Shirayuki Brewery Village Grand Place has attempted to recreate an evening scene in the Grand Place of Brussels, giving it a romantic, if slightly surreal, atmosphere. A large variety of fare, mostly a blend of Japanese and French cuisine, is available, one being the Belgian favorite, mussels and fries. These are prepared in one of the establishment's two kitchens, which is actually a franchise of the Belgian restaurant Chez Léon. The other feature here is the gold, brown, and white varieties of the jibiiru beer, which is brewed on the premises.
