This zoo in OKC is consistently rated as one of the best zoos in the United States, home to nearly 3,000 animals, it definitely is one of the largest. Here, 14 Clydesdales live in a renovated barn that dates back to the Depression era. This traditional Western homestead also provides visitors with historical background on the breed and their history in the state. On display in the gift shop are hand-crafted leather harnesses, used for showing the Clydesdales. Pick up a souvenir while you are there, it is sure to make a memorable gift. Admission is free.
