Akin to the Fountains of Bellagio, Wynn Performance Lake is a dramatic water show with lights and fire. The fascinating performance is staged at the entrance of the Wynn Macau where over 300 jets shoot up water in the air to the tunes of Broadway, classical or popular tunes. The dazzling show though only lasts for three minutes and reoccurs every 15 minutes, leaving an impression that lasts long.
The Nam Van Lake, is one of the two man made water bodies, in Macau. This scenic space, literally means South Bay and is known mostly for hosting the annual Dragon Boat Festival. The beauty of this lake is enhanced by the four man made islands, that dot the water body. If you happen to visit the city, do pay a visit to The Nam Van Lake, to see how nature and concrete fuse to create something so charming.
Hac Sa means black sand, and the sand at this beach is indeed an intriguing deep gray color. Longer than the Cheoc Van Beach, this beach is Macau's most popular, with jet skis for hire, whilst at the Hac Sa Sports and Recreation Ground there is everything from a swimming pool and mini-golf course to tennis and badminton courts. Fernando's is a great place to stop off for a bite to eat. Alternatively there are barbecue facilities for a DIY cookout.
Not far from Coloane Village is Cheoc Van Beach, a small sandy strip. If swimming in the sea does not appeal, the local pool in the neighboring Cheoc Van Park can be used instead for a modest fee. Boat hire is available from the yacht club and several restaurants, including the Pousada de Coloane in-house hotel restaurant and the beach front La Torre, keep the crowds fed.
