The Pink Adoba, in operation since 1944, is located just off the Plaza, across the street is the San Miguel Mission. Locals dubbed this restaurant, "The Pink", named after the 300-year-old, historic rose-colored house that Pink is now home to. The lunch menu offers lighter fare with soups, salads, sandwiches and a few specialties. The French Onion soup is an all-time favorite. The dinner menu is much more extravagant. Try the escargot and artichoke hearts appetizers, and for the entree, sample the Lobster, Crab and Shrimp Enchiladas or the Southern Fried Chicken. Save room for the apple pie--it's the best in town.

Named after a major tributary of the Rio Grande, which flows through some of the state's best cattle country, the Rio Chama Steakhouse serves melt-in-your-mouth aged beef in a classy, romantic setting. The menu offers plenty of steakhouse fare that includes rib-eye and prime rib, as well as specialty dishes such as Rocky Mountain Lamb Chops, Black Skillet Trout and stuffed shrimp. Two full bars serve clients, and a lounge offers live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

If y'all want some quality BBQ then mosey down to Cowgirl's. This place has everything a BBQ fanatic could possibly want, from spare ribs to brisket to chicken, sausage and of course mashed potatoes to go with it. The restaurant has a kids corral, so while all the little kiddies are at play Ma and Pa can relax and grab a drink or two. After quenching your thirst try something from the huge selection on the menu which includes traditional Frito pie, Buffalo Green Chile Cheese Burger etc. Try one of their novelty desserts; the ice cream baked potato is definitely an amusing choice at this place!

The Bull Ring, located one block north of the Plaza, was once a well-kept secret of the locals. It has now been discovered by the many visitors to the area and remains one of the best places to eat in town. Steak is the most prominent item on the menu; you can get just about any cut of beef cooked to your liking. Along with steaks, the menu offers baby-back ribs, Chicken Santa Fe and seafood, and the onion rings are a must-order. For dessert, try the chocolate torte smothered in a tequila sauce; it's a great way to round out a meal.

The Ranch House is the perfect place to spend an afternoon chowing down on a casual and delicious meal. This American restaurant and sports bar specializes in barbecue. The pork ribs and brisket are popular dishes, but there are some non-barbecue surprises on the menu as well, including tender salmon on a bed of butternut squash puree.
