Doll Museum is nestled in The Old Rectory building in Old Worthington. The building is owned by The Worthington Historical Society and houses unique collections of dolls from the 19th and 20th Century. The collection is exquisite and highly diverse, ranging from a tiny one-inch (0.0254 meters) doll to normal-sized dolls made in different time periods. Some of the dolls are made from wax, wood-work and even rock maple. The vast collection is further classified in different themes like American dolls, French dolls, portrait dolls among many others. The dolls were made with great attention to detail and are adorned with very beautiful costumes and hairdos. The museum keeps changing their exhibits as per the collections and themes.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is that rare zoological institution whose most famous face is that of a human. Jungle Jack Hanna has ferried many a wild beast up to the most hallowed stages in late-night television. That said, the Columbus Zoo is where he's most at home, surrounded by lions, bison, tigers, elephants, eagles, bears, rhinos, prairie dogs, bobcats, sharks, bonobos, pythons, clownfish, koalas, cougars, frogs, pronghorn, timber wolves, manatees, wolverines and more.
Originally opened in 1938, the Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse is Columbus's original independent theater. The art deco cinema screens a number of new movies, old favorites and art house films. A number of special events are held here too like their monthly Bad Movie Nite. The bar serves a delightful array of over 40 rotating brews, both on-tap and bottled varieties. Come here for the relaxed ambiance, great selection of beers and nostalgic setting.
