The Shiogama Shrine is a very old Shinto Shrine dating back to the 800’s in Shiogama, Japan. The beautiful, mesmerizing architecture with over 200 stairs and breathtaking cherry blossom trees is declared a cultural property and a National monument. The shrine looks stunning during the cherry blossom festival and is thronged by visitors to capture the perfect picture against the two-storey gate.

Manga or Mangaka is a popular form of comic art in the country through which comics and anime have been created. The museum was established in the year 2001, where the exterior structure is a true example of modern day architecture. Due to the tsunami and earthquake in 2011, the museum was closed for repairs and reopened in 2012 and now includes life works of the artist.

The Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium is located in the commercial area of Sendai, Japan and is a popular attraction. The aquarium has various exhibits brought in from different parts of the world and it is said to have one of the best dolphin and sea lion shows.
