Großer Saal is one of the venues housed in the Rhein-Mosel-Halle. It has been refurbished with modern light and sound facilities assuring every event is a success. It is used for live concerts, meetings, and conferences for a crowd of over 1000 people.
The waterfront was designed between 1856 and 1861 on behalf of Augusta of Saxony according to plans by Peter Lennés. To this day, the parks are a nice destination for walking and relaxing. Various monuments, sculptures, and pavilions invite you to linger and contemplate, while nearby the Rhine flows slowly towards the North Sea.
Basilika St. Kastor is a quaint church that was built by the bishop of Trier. The church has a picturesque architecture and with intriguing interiors. The place is best known for being the site where the famed treaty was signed which divided the Carolingian Empire. Inside you can find old relics, epitaphs of bishops, inscriptions and so on.
The Ludwig Museum in Koblenz is a well-known art space where French artworks and contemporary designs are put up on display. Check website for details.
Built in the Middle Ages, the historic Deutschherrenhaus overlooks the bustling River Rhine and is home to Ludwig Museum since 1992. The museum is dedicated to 20th century paintings and sculptors from local and international artists.
