A prominent historical landmark in the city of Tulle, the Tulle Cathedral is dedicated to Our Lady of Tulle. Dating back to the 12th and 13th Centuries, the cathedral is composed of a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural elements. The church features a striking bell-tower which can be seen from a distance. The church was dignified as a cathedral in 1317 CE when the Bishopric seat was shifted here. The church offers guided tours to visitors with prior permissions.

The breathtakingly beautiful Gardens of the Imagination in Terrasson-Lavilledieu offer visitors a unique experience of the evolution of parks and vegetation in the life of mankind. Kathryn Gustafson, the architect of the garden has attempted to recreate the natural settings by using the elements of wind, water, wood, plants, stone and flowers in the form of water jets, wind tunnels, terraces, flowerbeds, a green theater, fountains and water gardens spread over an area of six hectares (14.8 acres). Visiting the garden is an ethereal and other worldly experience, making ti a must see attraction while touring the region.
Overlooking the Vezere River and comprising of heavenly gardens and panoramic views, the Chateau de Losse is a very attractive castle and one of the most relaxing spots here. Listed as Historical House and Site, the massive mansion and its surrounding garden were built inside the walls of the medieval fortress in 1576 and offer great views over the river. This medieval fortress is open to the public and once here, visitors can explore the rich history of the monument, or just relax in the lush green gardens. Built in complete sync with the mansion, the gardens have been laid out in a French formal style with walls of box hedging clipped into symmetrical shapes.
