Open from the middle of May to the middle of December, The Club Car offers truly gourmet dining on the island of Nantucket. While they serve a light lunch menu during the day in the bar, the Club Car truly shines at night when it begins serving the dinner menu. Grilled free-range chicken breast, fresh Maryland soft shell crabs, even exotic dishes like Bangkok Octopus. The casual bar menu serves such fare as Black Angus cheeseburger with garlic fries, Roasted Rare Kobe Ribeye, Lobster Bisque and Pan-Seared Lobster. You may also eat in the outdoor gardens, which opens in July. The upstairs dining rooms are more formal and the food, such as Pan roasted lobster and Grilled rare block cut tuna, reflects this. Reservations are needed for the dining rooms but not the café or gardens. All offer a full array of beer and has a very impressive wine list.
