Toups' Meatery is an ideal place for all meat lovers, the menu includes a variety of meat. That list has everything from lamb, pork and steak to goat and quail. The restaurant is headed by the award-winning Chef Isaac Toups who is well known for his innovations in Cajun delicacies and his impressive stretch on Top Chef. They have a small menu, but a diverse wine list which perfectly blends with the food. The place has limited seating hence making reservations is advisable.

Instead, Cure’s menu features carefully crafted cocktails made only from premium ingredients, as well as a selection of the best in bottled brews. This elegant bar, housed in a carefully restored fire station with towering ceilings and picturesque arches, features a cozy courtyard for mild evenings. Hungry patrons can satisfy their cravings with one of the small plate offerings. Cure is a smoke-free bar.
While the clubs in the French Quarter usually get most of the attention, they are not the only ones that hold good times with even better music. This hot spot in the Carrollton District does require a cab ride, but is well worth the fare. A funky but fun atmosphere characterizes this club that is popular mainly for dancing.
