This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Visit a local farmers market to buy fresh produce, cook a 3 course meal in a local's home, and after your hands-on cooking class share a meal you helped prepare. Either walk or take a bike ride to the local Farmer’s Market in Long Beach with BA. This is a great place to browse, sample and buy fresh produce. You will then cook a meal using the ingredients you bought at the Farmer's Market. BA's cooking is inspired by local ingredients – which are plentiful in Southern California and international flavors from the many places she has lived in and travelled to. She tries to use fresh and local food – often from her own yard – as much as possible. Your menu will depend on the produce that you pick up at the Farmers Market. A seasonal, fresh, healthy and delicious meal. There will be dips, salads, a main course and dessert.Sample Menu • Dip • Salad • Main course • Dessert

This deliciously fun revue is chock-full of classic barbershop quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies! Singing in close harmony, all while squabbling boyishly over the smallest intonations, the "Plaids" are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they're not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950s.
