Kisan is a concept store by Thorunn Anspach and Olivier Brémond. The Franco-Icelandic couple have traveled the world to bring back an eclectic collection of jewellery, accessories children's clothing, books & toys. Kisan is on the posh Laugavegur Street in Reykjavik. They are famous for their fine Icelandic hand-knit sweaters. Inside you also find stuffed toys, DVDs, perfumes, furniture and other trendy must-haves. In all a good place to find that perfect gift!
STEiNUNN is the luxury knit-wear label of Steinunn Sigrud. Steinunn returned to her native Iceland after working for 6 years with Calvin Klein and five years with Gucci. She now has a boutique on the main shopping street of Reykjavik, Laugavegur. Her designs are inspired by the long Icelandic winter that she grew up with. In the store lava-and-glass sculptures by Icelandic sculptors set the perfect ambiance.
Belleville is owned by a couple Bjarni and Anna, who started this store to showcase their passion for street fashion. Belleville displays street wear designs for the fashion-conscious. You will find sneakers, skateboards, toys, clothing by designers like Patrik Soderstam and Yuko Yoshitake and hard-to-find fashion and art magazines at this lifestyle store. The store also stocks graffiti art, Japanese Be@rbrick figurines and new jewelery from Atelier 11. It also hosts exhibitions by local and international brands.
