Stage Werx is an intimate 70-seat theater run by Ty Mckenzie and other volunteers. It’s host to plays, rock operas, stand-up comedy, improv, sketch, storytelling, solo performance, movies, music and so much more. Located in the vibrant Valencia Corridor, 1.5 blocks from 16th Street Bart Station.
Housed in San Francisco's iconic Redstone building, this renowned non-profit organization specializes in producing multidisciplinary art projects. Established in 1984 by John DiStefano, Alan Millar, and Laura Brun, this event space also hosts live gigs, with Minimal Man, Z'EV, and Husker Du being the regulars here. Delve into the rich and illustrious past of Tenderloin with a quick stop at the city’s Tenderloin Museum. A city icon since the year 2015, it was established to portray the neighborhood riveting history and heritage through exhibitions, events and various arts-based installations. Various exhibits at the museum share an insight about Tenderloin’s socio-cultural fabric, its long-standing political scenario and its thriving entertainment industry. Additionally, the museum also serves as a lively venue for literature readings, dance shows and musical concerts, thus emerging as a multi-faceted locale for the city’s community to engage and interact on various platforms.
Located in the historic Mission District, the Victoria Theater, a former vaudeville house, is a 480-seater place considered the oldest theater house in all of San Francisco. Built in 1908, this theater has been screening films for a long time right from locally made movies to film festivals and even concerts. Features include amazing Dolby quality sound and a 35mm video screen. Many international film-makers have used this venue while filming, making it an important landmark. Personalities like Whoopie Goldberg, Bill Irwin, Donald O'Connor and Micheal Moore have made appearances here. This venue can also be rented out for live stage productions and other events.

Center of New Music is a community space where aspiring musicians and artists take to the stage to express their talent when it comes to new music. Based on the model of diversity, this all-inclusive space is a close-knit cluster of musicians, artists, professors, curators and critics. On weekends and regular evenings, the Center also makes provisions for workshops, live musical performances and other private and special events. The space also features a gallery which is home to stunning line-ups of solo performances and quintets.
