Founded in 1995, The Canadian Historical Aircraft Association is located in the west end of the city and is dedicated to preserving aircraft that have been significant contributors to aviation history. Not only is the museum home to a Lancaster Bomber, but one can also find a restored Havilland DH.98 Mosquito which was one of the first Canadian-built Mosquito bombers to be introduced in World War II. Built in 1920 as the Tivoli Theatre, it was designed by famed American architect, C. Howard Crane. This art-deco building was initially a vaudeville theater and later became a movie theater. After the closure of the theater, the venue was a bingo hall and later a gay nightclub in 2000. The Olde Walkerville Theatre was reborn in 2014 after a complete overhaul with its original design.
