The Evighed Fjord, or Forever Fjord, is so named as an homage to its seemingly endless reach. The azure water of the inlet snakes past untamed glaciers and steep cliffs on either side. At every turn, the fjord appears to end only to resume its foray into the mainland around the corner. At an approximate length of 100 kilometers (62 miles), the Evighed Fjord is a remarkable visual feast of scenic vistas that marks the southwestern coast of Greenland.
