White Elephant Sale Warehouse (Oakland Museum Warehouse)

The massive White Elephant Sale Warehouse is owned and managed by the Oakland Museum Women's Board and is the venue of the annual White Elephant Sale. Sprawled over 96,000 square feet (8919 square meters), the warehouse houses a vast collection of items, all of which have been generously donated for sale, and is sectioned into 17 departments with everything from vintage clothing and furniture, to jewelry, kitchenware, toys, books, musical instruments and a myriad of other treasures. All proceeds from the sale are used to fund the Oakland Museum and its varied exhibitions, educational programs and special events.
