At Umi no Ie (Ocean House) in Onna Village, locals and tourists alike can get a fine meal at a reasonable price with a beautiful view of the ocean. Tourists who aren't fluent in Japanese will be glad to hear that there is an English menu as well as English-speaking staff. The Ishigaki beef and fresh sashimi stand out on the menu, but the pork, noodle and tofu dishes are equally appetizing.
