Done up in Gothic Revival style of architecture, the building became home to the Cottage Lawn Museum and the headquarters for Madison County Historical Society in late 1900s. Open on weekdays, the museum offers guided and self-guided tours to interested visitors. Apart from this, Cotton Lawn also hosts various cultural and social events throughout the year.
