Frank Melville Memorial Park is located at Setauket, New York. It is a privately run national park dedicated in 1937 C.E to the memory of Frank Melville Jr., father of local philanthropist Ward Melville. The 24 acre park is home to the Three Village Garden Club Arboretum and also has a walking trail. It was added to the National Registrar of Historic Places on July 19, 2010.
Housed inside the U.S. Baird Building, the Two Roads Brewing Company is is known for its year-round beer line-up that includes Ol' Factory Pils, Unorthodox Russian Imperial Stout and the Honeyspot Road White IPA, among several others. A splending war memorial, the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is built in honor of the men who lost their lives fighting in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War and the Civil War. Built in 1887, the monument stands tall at 112 feet (34 meters) and can be seen from most places in the city. The bronze cast monument not only features 87 steps to the top and an observatory but there is also an Angel of Peace statue on the top of the monument.
