Takayamaso Hanano

This Japanese inn is located in the popular hot spring resort of Arima—a very old hot spring with many inns dating from the 1600s. Takayamaso is a beautiful inn with sunken fireplaces in most of the guestrooms, exposed beams in the ceiling, winding corridors, and a lovely garden. The guestrooms are Japanese-style and meals are served in the room. The segregated indoor hot spring baths are made of wood. Outside are two landscaped open-air pools. The water is classified as carbonated sodium chloride and is rich in iron, as the reddish residue on your bath towel will attest.
