Dietrich Cabin is one of the last remaining examples of a log cabin in Kansas. The cabin was originally constructed in 1859 and was registered under the National Register of Historical Places in 1972. The cabin is currently owned by Franklin County Historical Society and the museum is a tribute to the Dietrich family. The museum is open to the public only on Sundays and remains closed during winters.
