The Monument to Canadian Aid Workers is a structure built to commemorate all those Canadian workers involved in humanitarian activities in other countries, who have lost their lives abroad. The monument was built after the death of Tim Stone, the director of an organization, and Nancy Malloy, a nurse, in unrelated incidents in 1996. Situated in Rideau Falls Park, the monument is a simple bronze arch which also has two bronze feathers at its top. The monument was designed by John Greer and is also known as Reflection.
