The Burlington House

Burlington House is a five-star bed and breakfast inn with very reasonable prices for Oxford, but there's a feeling of luxury about the place that you'd expect to pay a lot more for. This 3-story Victorian building is light and airy with plenty of thought given to comfort and relaxation. The home-made food is a highlight and any special dietary needs are catered for with the minimum of fuss. A specially prepared room has been put aside for disabled guests. The award winning breakfast varieties served here include freshly brewed coffee, home baked bread, homemade Granola, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice and Greek yogurt.

Old Bank Hotel

If you're looking for a luxurious hotel with great views over the city, try the Old Bank, one of the most central hotels you're likely to find in Oxford. As the name suggests, it was formerly a bank: the beautiful buildings have been tastefully converted into a luxury hotel with a stylish contemporary interior. Large, dramatic oil paintings in the Quod restaurant and bar form part of an impressive collection of 20th Century British art which can be found throughout the hotel.

The Old Parsonage

One of Oxford's best-loved hotels, the Old Parsonage is set in a beautiful 17th-century building, just on the edge of the main commercial area of the city. Each room is furnished slightly differently, but they all share the same cozy and charmingly English chintzy feel. The Parsonage bar and restaurant is a relaxing place to eat, and it's worth noting that it also provides twenty-four hour room service. The very popular and quaint tea room and roof terrace add to the charm.

Vanbrugh House Hotel

This elegant boutique hotel is situated in the heart of Oxford, surrounded by the historic college buildings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Oxford Rail Station is a 7-minute walk from the building. Dating back to the 18th century, Vanbrugh House Hotel offers 22 individually designed rooms with their own unique character and charm. Features include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Delicious Oxfordshire cooked breakfasts are available in the morning for a surcharge. Oxford has a wide range of shops and restaurants to go to on Vanbrugh House’s doorstep. Reading is 27 miles away, and London’s city centre can be reached in an hour and a half by car.

Macdonald Randolph Hotel

This Grade II listed building is something of a city landmark, and it has been improved and extended many times since it first opened in 1866. The Randolph is a grand hotel, and its central location adds to its popularity. On the corner of Magdalen and Beaumont streets, it is close to the main shopping center, but in an area that isn't too busy or noisy.

Ethos Hotel

Walking distance to the city centre, yet located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, Ethos Hotel provides guests with convenient accessibility to Oxford. This boutique hotel features a fully licensed bar and restaurant that serves daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner as well as complimentary snacks for hotel guests. The hotel offers Suites with super king-size beds and a separate living space with sofabeds. Guests will receive three delicious appetisers with the purchase of a pre-dinner cocktail or any of the Oxford Wine Company offerings. Private parking is available for an additional fee at the property. This Victorian terraced hotel is less than a 15-minute walk from Oxford city centre, and 1-mile from Oxford Rail Station.
