With its 200-inch Hale telescope, this site is one of the most popular attractions within the park and has been credited with some of the most fascinating astronomical discoveries of the 20th Century. A small museum located onsite features photos and videos of these discoveries. The observatory conducts special programs during astronomic events and also offers guided tours.
