Visit the Teatro Nacional to appreciate its gorgeous architecture and spectacular décor, but remember the Ministerio de Gobierno y Justicia, housed in the rear portion of the same building, for utterly practical reasons: an ATM has been placed inside to assure secure transactions, and the lovely spacious interior courtyard is turned over to community use at times, for example to practice for cultural events or traditional dance performances.
