Santa Maria di Canepanova is a Roman Catholic church located in the commune of Pavia which is an example of Renaissance architecture. Designed by the famous Italian sculptor, Giovanni Antonio Amadeo when he was at the peak of his career, the church itself has a cubic shape while the bell tower is in the shape of an octagon. The interior is full of frescoes of the women who feature in the the bible by the famous Mannerism fresco painter, Cmillo Procaccini.
