This state park opened in 1973, even offers hunting zones in nearly half of its property. Horseback riding, mountain biking and winter sports such as ice fishing, skating, sledding and cross-country skiing are included in the offing. They also have educational programs for schools. Whether you want to treat the kids to a good time or work off the calories you just consumed at a Penn's Landing restaurant, skating at the Blue Cross River Rink can do the trick.
