Bayernhof Music Museum

Located approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Pittsburgh, in O'Hara Township, the Bayernhof Music Museum features many popular as well as rare musical instruments from the 19th and 20th Centuries. Apart from this, it also displays various ephemera and artifacts related to music. The museum is housed within an old German mansion that overlooks the Allegheny River. Open all week, the Bayernhof Museum makes for an interesting visit.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History

The museum makes for a great day out with the kids, and the surrounding area also offers many attractions. Carnegie Museum of Art

Industrialist Andrew Carnegie left many gifts for the residents of Pittsburgh. One of those is the Carnegie Museum of Art. The Andy Warhol Museum

The Andy Warhol Museum boasts an extensive collection of the iconic artists works. Carnegie Science Center

The Carnegie Science Center is one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. It houses a world-class planetarium, a huge aquarium, the OMNIMAX theater and three demonstration theaters where live shows take place. This learning and entertainment hub is the perfect place to take children for a fun-filled day out. Spread across five floors of educational space, it serves as an interactive amusement park for children of all ages.

The Frick Pittsburgh

Over five acres (2.02 hectares) of lawns, gardens and historic buildings make up the Frick Art and Historical Center, which is adjacent to part of the sprawling Frick Park. Landmarks in the center include the Frick Art Museum, the Car and Carriage Museum, Clayton House, a greenhouse, an education center, a museum shop, and a cafe.
