Měšťanská beseda

Built in the year 1901 and commissioned by Frantisek Kotek, Měšťanská beseda formerly served as a municipal building in the heart of Plzen. Situated on Kopeckého sady ulica, this early 20th-century structure remains an excellent example of Neo-Renaissance architectural style, with elements of Art Nouveau. The magnificent building is home to a number of ornate halls, movie theater and Art Nouveau cafe. Its Great Hall is truly an architectural marvel, designed with intricately carved frescoes and paintings. Other spaces like the Small Hall, Ballroom and the modish Křižík's Hall also function as thriving spots for a host of cultural and corporate events like theater, concerts and business conferences.
