Following an extensive renovation, this old movie theater reopened in 1998 as a venue for national and regional country, bluegrass, rock and folk bands. Great effort went into restoring the original luster of this art deco theatre. Smoking is prohibited in the dining area and the balcony of the State Theatre. The kitchen offers burgers, nachos, enchiladas and vegetarian entrees. Pasta dishes are also available. All these make this venue a delightful one.
Zenith Gallery has been curating local artists' work since 1978. Visitors to the gallery will be amazed at the extensive collections and rotating exhibits - which involve a variety of medias - as well as the spirit of the place. Zenith Gallery seeks to promote the work of both established artists and bright artists who are just finding their place within the DC artist community.

The Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens is the legacy of Marjorie Merriweather Post, a famous socialite and founder of General Foods. Consisting of numerous rooms, this mansion dates back to the 1920s and houses an outstanding collection of art, jewelry and other decorative artifacts that belonged to her. View rare Faberge eggs, historic portraits, exquisite tapestries and priceless ceramics, among others, at this stunning museum. Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely stroll through the landscaped estate, which notably features a French parterre garden, a rose garden, and even a cemetery that inters many of Post's pet dogs.
The name 'Fillmore' means music and the Silver Spring venue means to keep with that tradition. It can hold up to 2000 patrons and is located in downtown Silver Spring. The space serves as a zone for community, music and entertainment.
