"19th-Century House"

Located in the center of Prattsville, the Zadock Pratt Museum highlights the life of this representative in the U.S. house as well as the history of the Northern Catskills region. A renowned businessman, Pratt planned the town himself and built approximately 100 homes for its citizens; many of these houses still stand today. Outside the museum, some of the highlights include the herb garden and carriage house. In 1976, local benefactors restored the home to its original appearance and it was subsequently placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
