Forests for the World

Located just ten minutes west of downtown Prince George, Forests for the World offers visitors a delightful outdoor recreational opportunity. With more than 15 kilometers (9.32 miles) of routes for cycling, hiking, and cross country skiing, Forests for the World is an ideal getaway from the bustle of the city. CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery

The famous CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery in downtown Prince George, Canada opened in 2017 and has since then grown in popularity. The brewery takes its name not just by being housed in a historic garage but also by winning several medals for its brilliant brews. They also conduct tours and tasting events and with aesthetically designed infrastructure and a menu serving local cuisines, they are definitely a crowd-pleaser.

Northern Lights Estate Winery

Located off the Nechako River, Northern Lights Estate Winery is one of the best spots in the city, if you wish to taste some quality wines. Two Rivers Gallery

Run by the Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association, the Two Rivers Gallery is a prime art gallery in Prince George. Originally established in 1969, the new facility opened in the year 2000. This splendid art museum focuses on the promotion of local artists and Canadian artwork, through the medium of contemporary art. Further to this objective, the Two Rivers Gallery hosts exhibitions every three months and also offers guided tours of exhibitions to interested visitors. On your way out, shop for handcrafted pieces and accessories at the gallery store.

Eskers Provincial Park

Eskers, after which the Eskers Provincial Park is named, allude to the winding ridges left behind by sand and gravel and form the defining feature of this remarkable park. In operation since 2001, The Exploration Place is a museum and a science center. Located close to The Fraser River, the museum offers the perfect opportunity for youngsters and adults alike to learn and understand more about local history, participate in interactive exhibitions and explore technology through the years. Besides the exhibits, the museum also offers child care programs, guided tours for groups and educational programs for one and all.
