Lucia is a great alternative to many of the more expensive Italian restaurants you may find in the Newport area, not to mention offers absolutely authentic Italian cuisine. Lucia's menu offers primarily Northern Italian cooking and several vegetarian options. Portions are large, but the cheerful wait staff is happy to adjust your order as you wish so you get a chance to sample their delicious, homemade Crescentina as well as the pasta, veal and lobster entrées. Do not forget to bring your own bottle of wine.

Surrounded by art and beauty, adorned by beautiful white and green flowered plants the restaurant has a pace of its own which is neither too fast or stagnant. The wine list is credible and well loved among its patrons. The place sets the mood for a great time and a memorable meal.

While the restaurant offers an elegant setting, the outdoor patio is a better option when the weather permits. The menu is extensive and features fresh seafood and meat specialties. While the Lobster and Tomato Tarragon Omelette and Eggs Benedict are a great way to start the day, the juicy sandwiches are perfect for a light lunch. Afternoon Tea (between 2p-4p daily) serves yummy homemade biscuits. If you are in Newport, then a visit here is highly recommended.

Known for its fresh seafood made with unique creativity and an expensive but extensive collection of wines, Fluke is definitely a heart warmer for its regular patrons and visiting tourists. The place is airy and has a very relaxed edge to it. The service is friendly and prompt, making this destination a well-loved venue.

The adventurous can head to the raw bar, apart from which an eclectic range of carefully prepared food awaits patrons.
