Mohawk Austin

The Iron Bear

The Living Room
Located inside the W Hotel, this is not your typical bar. The Living Room is made up of four separate areas where patrons can indulge in nibbles, drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere. Plush, comfy chairs abound in the Living Room, making it the perfect place to settle in for the evening or just enjoy a quick drink. One of Austin's celebrity hot-spots, you never know who you'll see sipping a drink at the Living Room. Stick around later in the evening for the fabulous happy hour or to catch the in-house DJ spinning an awesome set.
Trace
Whether it's for an evening of drinks or a satisfying meal, Trace is a sophisticated eatery that is worth returning to time and again. Located at the W Hotel in downtown Austin, this restaurant is a great place to dine even if you're not staying at the W hotel. Trace's chefs provide guests with masterful cuisine concoctions that are sure to leave you wanting more. What's surprising is that all foods are seasonal and organic fare that originated from the farms around Austin. But these well-trained chefs aren't constricted by the lack of food options, instead, their creativity shines through.

The staff is one of the best aspects of this night spot. OUT Magazine has named Oilcan Harry's one of the "50 Greatest Gay Bars in the World." They have great music with a huge dance floor, where all the people have fun dancing to the sounds churned by the DJ.
